Choosing A Casino That’s Right For American Players

In the light of the UIGEA Act, which was sneaked through by the Bush administration to try to stop American gamblers from betting online, it has become increasingly difficult for gamblers from the USA to find reputable online casinos at which to play.

A number of leading gaming software providers, such as Microgaming, and casino companies, like Party Gaming, immediately pulled out of the US market, leaving players with a restricted number of places to enjoy online gambling.

It is certainly worh mentioning at this point that the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act doesn’t actually make online betting illegal. However, with many well-known gaming companies panicking and pulling out of the US market, there isn’t as much choice as there once was for players from the USA.

The second part of that last sentence is critical, of course. You need to be positive that you will get paid your winnings rapidly when you do win. Please keep in mind that it is - more often than not - the discontented customer that makes the most noise and every business has a few problem clients! You should, even so, get a better idea of which places you are safe with and which you should avoid, well, like the plague.

Of course, you don’t have to play at just one gambling site. You can switch between several, but it is a good idea to do some research first to find the right casino for the US gambler.
