How To Play Bingo – What To Expect From The Cards

To play Bingo, players are expected to purchase a card with a 5X5 grid; in the grid will be numbers and at top will be the word BINGO. Now numbers will be drawn at random (the American Bingo edition, any number from 1 to 75 are called; in the Australian and British Bingo version… any number from 1 to 90 is called. The game will continue until someone calls out, “BINGO” in any one of the patterns being played; there are many Bingo patterns to play. The player who called out, “BINGO” will win a prize.

The bingo card consists of 24 numbered squared and a free space. Random numbers are on every card and arranged in the 5X5 block (five across by five down).

Australia and United Kingdom Bingo

In the United Kingdom, bingo is seen and played in large halls for cash prizes. The larger hall is linked to smaller ones in the evening time, which means large cash sums may be won during this time. The game is played in almost every UK seaside town on a screen with a player in the front who covers the number called with a slide. However, gambling laws state that no cash prizes can be given out… just toys.
